Rainie Brazil is the driving force behind Carve & Cast. Starting as a metalsmith, she was drawn to the alchemy and beautiful transformation of the lost wax process. After meeting her mentor, Larry Baker, in 2017, she was persistent in learning how to cast jewelry. She spent the next few years as his apprentice. In 2019, Carve & Cast was imagined. She strongly believes that everyone should be able to own their own piece of custom jewelry. Made especially for them. So, the jewelry kits were designed. When I first saw the lost wax process on Youtube, I was sucked into a rabbit hole of exploration. I knew then that I had found my life's passion. There is so much magic behind this process.
