The Carve & Cast Co. Home Studio Ring Experience gives you everything you need to create a ring that’s truly your own, start to finish, from your hands to heirloom.

1. Choose Your Kit
Each kit comes with two wax ring models (starting at size 4), carving tools, and simple instructions. If you're ordering for a smaller or larger ring size—especially for men's bands or sizes under 4—just message us and we’ll send the right wax for your needs.

2. Design & Carve
Use the tools included to carve your ring at your own pace. You can experiment with both wax models before sending your favorite back. No experience needed—just your imagination.

3. Send It Back
Once you're happy with your design, ship it back to us along with your name, email, desired ring size, and finish preference (polished, brushed, or matte). We'll size your design precisely before casting it in solid metal.

4. Cast & Finish
Your wax ring will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind piece, hand-finished by our team. We’ll package and ship your final ring straight to your door.

Important Notes

You must be 16 or older to use this kit. It contains sharp objects—use with care. Carve & Cast Co. is not responsible for any injuries during use.

Kits must be returned within 3 months of purchase or workshop date due to fluctuating metal prices.

Care Instructions

Your ring is made to last, but sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time. To keep it shining:
• Avoid chemicals and frequent water exposure
• Use the included polishing cloth regularly
• For deeper cleans, use water, baking soda, and a soft toothbrush

  • Pencil and paper to draw out your designs before carving.
  • Pre-addressed mailer for returning your rings to our shop.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need any experience to carve a ring or pendant?

Not at all. The kit is beginner-friendly and comes with everything you need, including instructions, tools, and practice wax. You don’t have to be an artist—just bring your creativity.
What ring sizes do the wax models fit?

Wax models start at size 4. If you're designing for a larger size (like most men’s rings) or smaller than size 4, just message us and we’ll include wax that better fits your needs.
Can I carve both wax models in my kit?

Yes. Each kit includes two wax molds—one to practice or experiment, and one to send back for casting. If you love both, you can purchase our Second Ring Send-Back to have the second design cast too.
What happens after I carve my design?

Once you’re happy with your design, send the wax back to us along with your ring size and finish preference (polished, matte, or brushed). We’ll cast your design in solid metal and size it to fit you perfectly.
How long does the whole process take?

On average, you’ll receive your finished ring within4–6 weeks from when we receive your wax mold. You’ll get updates throughout the process.
What if I need more time to carve?

No problem—but please note that kits must be returned within 3 months of purchase due to fluctuating metal prices. After that, we can’t guarantee your design will be accepted for casting.
What metals do you use?

We currently cast in solid sterling silver, known for its durability and timeless look. Care instructions are included to keep your ring looking its best for years to come.
